Epcot's Food & Wine Twinings Pumpkin Chai Tea & Caramel Milkshake Recipe

Epcot's Food & Wine Twinings Pumpkin Chai Tea & Caramel Milkshake Recipe

I had this at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival a few weeks ago & have been OBSESSING over it! I know it is basic but the caramel vodka gives it that edge it needs. You can always just use regular caramel syrup if alcohol isn't your thing. You can find it at the Ireland Booth with or without vodka.

I got my tea off of Amazon. I couldn't find it anywhere. Link Below:

Just throw everything in a blender until smooth. 16 ounces = 2 cups of ice cream as FYI.

Drink slow & enjoy! I drank mine too fast & got a little buzzed but I am a huge lightweight. ;)

Disney's Nomad Lounge Review & Pics...

Disney's Nomad Lounge Review & Pics

We had some time to kill on our last trip & decided to see what all the hype was about at the Nomad Lounge. We had two days at Disney's Animal Kingdom so decided to stop in real quick for a drink.

Special Coasters

More comfy seating in back of bar area

We enjoyed the Nomad Lounge SO much! It is by far our new favorite bar inside the parks! All of the outside areas on patio were taken but we actually really loved the comfy lounge areas inside. We came here on a whim & decided to make an ADR at Tiffins because of our visit to the bar. We only had enough time for one drink so had to head out pretty quick. If you haven't seen my Full review & pics of Tiffins please click here:http://yohoyohobloggerslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/12/disneys-tiffins-restaurant-at-animal.html

I tried the Hightower Rocks & my husband had the Annapurna zing. I  liked the drink I had but I wouldn't get it again after tasting my husband's drink. His drink was SO refreshing & amazing! It was definitely something new & different to try. This is my new go to cocktail here! I got it when we ate at Tiffins.

Have you tried the Nomad Lounge yet? What are your thoughts on it?

Morimoto Asia Disney Springs Review...

Morimoto Asia Disney Springs Review

I was so excited as soon as this opened in Disney Springs! You can find Morimoto Asia right across from Homecomin' near the AMC Movie theatre side of Disney Springs.

If you are looking for my lounge review on Morimoto Asia you can find that here: http://yohoyohobloggerslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/12/morimoto-forbidden-lounge-in-disney.html

We got to Morimoto Asia around 2pm on a Friday. They said the wait would be around 20 minutes & would text me on my cell phone when our table was ready. We grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited & did not wait over 20 minutes. It wasn't too crowded when we were there so I wonder how loud it gets in there at night in the restaurant?

It really is a beautiful restaurant. We were seated almost to the edge of the restaurant closest to the kitchen.

I've heard nothing but amazing things so I knew exactly what I wanted to try. I ordered the Kanikama Rangoon which is krab meat in a cream cheese spring roll with apricot sweet chili sauce. Crab   Rangoons are my FAVORITE thing at any Chinese takeout so I had to try these. Honestly this was just ehhhhhh for us & we wouldn't get again but the dipping sauce was very good.

 Kanikama Rangoon

We also ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura appetizer. This knocks it out of the park! We were fighting over these & polished these off in no time!

My main protein was the famous Spare Ribs which are flavored with cilantro & hoisin sweet chili glaze. I ordered the Appetizer portion. There are two options for these: 3 ribs or 6 ribs.  I can tell you there is MORE than enough meat on these ribs from the appetizer. I don't know how he does it but these ribs are mind blowing! They are crunchy yet sweet & spicy. The best ribs I've ever had in my entire life& my husband agreed! My mouth is watering just thinking about these & looking at this picture again. :)

My husband ordered the lunch special:

The salad that came with it was very good & quite refreshing.

Lunch included: Salad, California Rolls, Kung Pao, & dumplings. I can say the dumpling was the best  I ever had. He was nice & let me have a bite :) He said everything was amazing.

Water Glass
Kirin Draft

We were too stuffed for dessert. Everything was amazing! I am sad we are not going here on our next trip but I hope to go back on the next one. We didn't have the duck but Morimoto is also known for that. I would say you cannot go wrong with the rock shrimp & ribs. The lunch specials are stellar too.

Have you been & what is your opinion?

Adventures by Disney San Francisco from an Admitted Foodie- Christine Battista

If you think that your dinners on group travel don’t matter, then you have never been on an Adventures by Disney trip. Of course, this is coming from a person who plans their Disney World trips around where they can find their dinner reservations.
The Adventures by Disney San Francisco Long Weekend Tour covers everything from walking over the Golden Gate Bridge to Napa Valley, but not surprisingly to those who know me, the food was the absolute highlight!

The best food on the whole trip was at My China in San Francisco. Now I have eaten a few places in my life, including the South of France, and this restaurant has to be in my top three.

Every Adventures by Disney meal starts with a specialized menu. The food came out family style and I tried everything on the list. It was absolutely amazing! The Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp melted in my mouth.

Spicy Seafood Dumplings

The My China Chef came out mid-meal and gave us a private show that involved music and noodle making! That was just for the Adventures by Disney guests.

On our last night in San Francisco, we were treated to another great meal at One Market Restaurant.

The place was packed, so I was sure it was a great restaurant. Once again we started with a personalized menu.

This time, we got to choose from each section. I can tell you that I don’t normally like Cheesecake, but this cheesecake melted in my mouth.

Natural Angus New York Steak

We were served wine with this meal and were seated in a private room.
Adventures by Disney is the only way I would group travel. You never even handle your own bag the entire trip. As a matter of fact, I was on the same flight as another family on my Adventures by Disney Southern California trip and they still sent me my own private SUV to take me to the airport. But I digress…the food will NOT disappoint on any adventure.
I can’t wait to see what food I will get to try on my next adventure to Costa Rica. Hi Ho Vacations is taking a group next summer; June 30-July 6, 2018. I hope you will consider joining us…..I know that one thing that we will have is fresh pineapple picked straight from the farm that we visit.
Until the next adventure…..
