DisneyLand Pumpkin Beignet Review & Pics

DisneyLand Pumpkin Beignet Review & Pics

You can find the pumpkin beignets in DisneyLand at the Mint Julep Bar as well as the French Market.  This snack was at the top of my to do list. My husband must really love me because we waited in line for at least 45 minutes to try these! The line wrapped all the way around around back towards French Market Seating Area.

We were patient. :) My husband got coffee & I got a diet coke with an order of 3 pumpkin beignets. You can get a 3 pack or 6 pack. Looking back we regretted not getting 6 but there was no way we were getting back in that line! They only have the pumpkin ones during the fall season. I have had the beignets at the French Quarter Resort at WDW (review here http://yohoyohobloggerslifeforme.blogspot.com/2014/09/disneys-french-quarter-beignet-review.html )& the DL ones blow those out of the water! They give them to you in a paper bag loaded w/ powdered sugar. It is meant for you to shake your own bag to cover your beignets nicely. We noticed no one around us was shaking the bag & they were dipping it instead? The morning we were there they had a major shortage of the regular beignets. Luckily we love pumpkin flavored anything. :)

The French Quarter does serve beignets but they have later hours than the Mint Julep Bar.

Before Shake

After Shake

These are thin, light & airy, soft & amazing! Any and all hype you hear for these is correct! My husband & I agreed it was worth standing in line for. We ended up getting them one last time on our last day at DisneyLand. We were surprised Blue Bayou didn't serve some kind of beignet dessert. We skipped dessert there to wait in line here. :) Luckily the line this time took less than 10 minutes.
Happy face = First Beignets

Sad Face= Last Beignets for a LONG time!

Have you ever had the DL beignets? What are your opinions on them? Please post your thoughts on my FB Group!

Disney's Little Red Wagon Corndog Review...

Disney's Little Red Wagon Corn Dog Review

You can find the Little Red Wagon Corn Dog Stand inside DisneyLand, California. It is at the end of Main Street on the right hand side. It is right before you get to the Plaza Inn Restaurant.

The whole time we were here there was always a line for these. This was our first stop on our DisneyLand Adventure. We waited about 10 minutes in line. It does move by quickly. They have someone at a register outside of the wagon. Then after you get your receipt the inside cast members will hand off your purchase. To the right of the wagon there is a condiment stand with napkins,mustard,etc....

Yes, it is $8.75 for a corndog w/ apple slices or chips. We opted for apple slices. I have had corn dogs from all over this great U.S.A. & can safely say this is the best corn dog I've ever had! They have a few tables next to the condiment station or you can eat at a table at the Plaza Inn outside. We were sitting on the steps but were told we could eat at the tables by Plaza Inn since it is all for quick service patrons. These are a MASSIVE size! Two smaller people would definiately be able to share this. I didn't finish all of mine because it was so large so my husband gladly took on the last few bites.
