Getting in the Parks before Opening...

The only way to get in the park before opening is Extra Magic Hours from staying on WDW Property or to have early breakfast reservation. We had an early ADR at Cinderella's Royal Table. We went through the turnstiles on the far left of the entrance. We told the CM our name & she let us through. She didn't check our ADR # but I hear sometimes they do check. We parked at the Ticket & Transportation Center & then took the monorail straight to MK. Plan your travel accordingly. :)

They had a few PhotoPass Photographers working so we got some great shots of Main street & FantasyLand with no one in it! It was a very cool experience & I recommend you do it at least once in your lifetime. It was a magical moment for me on the trip. :)

PhotoPass Plus Ordering...

You have the option of ordering download pictures or you can get a disc. I got the disc just in case my computer crashes. It comes in a DVD case like above. You have 30 days after you login to account with your Photopass Plus code to order pictures. If you need more time you just need to call to make an extension. You can make cool frames around the pictures & other stuff but I am boring & just wanted my pictures mailed to me ASAP!

Again if the label is torn you will be charged for the CD as FYI. Read the labels carefully before opening them! Here is some information you get in the inside for ordering other items with your pictures on it.

You should have a login & password to www.disneyphotopass.com You will need your card # to collect your pictures. A quick tip is to take a picture of your card # on your iphone just in case you lose it! You will load the CD into your computer & it should load saying Digital media. I think it will tell you Disney has given you license over your pictures.

Your pictures should load in a folder like this. I created a new folder on my desktop & dragged all the pics I wanted into the folder for easy access.

You can pick up your PhotopassPlus Lanyard at:

Any of the four Disney Park Photo locations & also:

--Grand Floridian
-- Polynesian
-- Beach Club
-- Wilderness Lodge
-- Animal Kingdom Lodge
-- Disney's Marketplace

You can get your picture taken with any Photopass Photographer and also at:

  • 1900 Park Fare
  • Ohana (Breakfast only)
  • Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
  • Chef Mickey’s
  • Cinderella’s Royal Table
  • Tusker House Restaurant
  • Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

PhotoPass Plus Pre-Ordering...

I did not know about the PhotoPass plus until three weeks before my trip. I quickly ordered it & received it in exactly 10 days from ordering. Some people get it sooner but it is best to have a two week period available when ordering. You don't want to order too close to call to your trip & then not receive it. You will receive a CD case like this that has stock pictures on the CD & it will also include the PhotoPass Plus voucher you need to bring with you to claim your actual photopass Plus lanyard & card. I forgot to take a picture of my voucher so please forgive me! Do NOT break the seal of your CD case if you need to return it! If you do you will not be able to return. I bought mine for $169 I believe but I think they have a better deal now that if you pre-order it is only $149.99. If you wait to buy it at WDW it is $199.99! So it is definitely a smart idea to buy it before hand. This includes all ride photos, all photopass photographer pictures in the park, as well as pictures at: Aloha show, Chef Mickey's & even special magic pictures. I will go into more detail tomorrow :) The website is: http://www.disneyphotopass.com/specialoffers/wdwppp.htm

Do not tear this seal if you plan on returning!

You can turn in your voucher at:

Downtown Disney
MK
Epcot
DHS
A few hotels offer pick up as well.

I will get in more detail tomorrow talking about how to actually order your Picture CD & what the process is. It is VERY easy!

Brown Derby PeachTree Punch Recipe...

I first discovered this drink in November of 2011 while dining with my friend Monika. It is so simple to make! I did not ask for the drink recipe until my last trip this past October. It is by far my favorite adult drink for the whole WDW Property. I love it so much I always have two! We made this drink on New Year's Eve & it tasted the exact same. You need a shaker to make mixed drinks for this but we already had one. :)

Let me know if you make it! :)

Picture Traditions...

Is there one place, restaurant etc that you always take a picture of or near at Disney? Being a past cast member I always try to take a picture with as many cast member signs as I can. :)

Liberty Tree Tavern Review...

I never really heard much about this place so was VERY hesitant to try but am so glad we went! It is a new favorite. We were a party of 2 adults. We went there RIGHT before the Hween Party was about to start. We waited about 30 minutes. When they call your name they say " Smith Family from West VA" or wherever you are from. It was quite cute. :) It is located in FrontierLand in MK.

You get a large bowl of salad & rolls. Pardon my picture but I was STARVING & forgot to take a picture. Everything is buffet style except they bring it all to you so you don't have to get up. The cast members wear 1800s type clothing. The check in desk was very friendly & gave us updates on our seating time. :) Everything we ate was very good. We will go back for sure! My husband said it was one of his favorites for the week.

The dessert bread was moist & the ice cream was good too.

Surprise FastPass...

On our trip I wanted to ride Winnie The pooh. ( i worked at this attraction in Spring 2000 so I always have to ride it. ) We were shocked to receive a "surprise" FastPass to Dumbo! We were so excited & were able to use both of them since both lines weren't too bad. We loved the new Dumbo Line Queue too! So cute & would be great on a hot summer day. I worked at Dumbo as well on my 2000 CP but in the old location. I wanted to see the difference. We loved the new location !

Fellow Blogger Banned from WDW...

woo.jpg

I don't know what I would do if I were ever banned from WDW. Being a past cast member I'm always careful on things that I have posted to my blog. Sadly Adamthewoo was banned from WDW forever this week. He did a few videos where he went behind the scenes HUGE no no! I do not agree with what he did BUT maybe he should've gotten a slap on the wrist first but I understand Disney is trying to keep their secrets secret & maybe didn't trust the fact that he would honor their request? Here is his video on what happened to him at WDW Security:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH5lniaLcng

I have corresponded with him quite a few times on our Disney passion & he is a really nice guy!

In his videos he goes to abandoned places or famous places were movies were filmed etc & scopes out the locations. I feel bad for the guy but rules are rules & Disney was just looking out for their investment.

What do you think??

Wyndham BonnetCreek Review...

I know this really isn't Disney BUT it is on Disney Property technically. :) This hotel is located next to Caribbean Beach. It is very close to DTown Disney. I have stayed here four times. :) Luckily my in-laws are Timeshare owners with Wyndham.  We have stayed in a 2 bedroom unit as well as a one bedroom unit. They are a very nice place. They have a large kitchen & eating area with full service kitchen, family room & large bathroom & bedroom. This past trip we had a view of Epcot & MK it was amazing to see the fireworks from our room. :) In the picture below you can see Spaceship Earth in the center of the picture. We could see the castle & Contemporary from our hotel in day light :)

Me enjoying the hot tub

There is a main lobby area where you can buy tickets to any park. There is a lazy river at main pool. I think they have like 8 different pools so it was nice to not have to walk far to one near our room. All the rooms come with jet tubs in master bath. I used them every night on my feet!!!!! It really helped :) They have free mini golf, pizza place, deli, & a few other places to eat. It is right next to Wyndham Orlando Hotel. Buses run 2-3x an hour. The drivers are very friendly. We never had to wait for a second bus due to them being full but we go on off times of the season normally before Tgiving. One night we got lost & a guy drove us back to our room on a golf cart! I highly recommend this hotel. :) If you pay $15 they will take you round trip to Universal as well which is nice if you don't rent a car.
