Hersheypark Spring Creek Smokehouse Review & Pics...

Hersheypark Spring Creek Smokehouse Review & Pics...

One of the hardest things in my opinion these days is to eat decent food at amusement parks. I am one of those people who will research to have the best fast food at a theme park. :)

You will NOT be disappointed at Spring Creek Smokehouse. This is our second time eating here. We were a little disappointed that they took away the pulled pork with cornbread waffle but the food here is still just as good.

The menu is set up that you pick your protein for one choice & if you would like extra sides that will be an added cost.

Our friends got the turkey leg & that thing was massive! I shared the half of chicken with my friend while my husband ate the ribs. You are getting your  $$ worth with the turkey leg & ribs! I have NEVER seen ribs with that much meat on them anywhere in my life!

RIBS

Ribs with mac & cheese

The only bad thing my husband had to say was that the plastic knife that they gave out wasn't strong enough to cut his ribs & he had a hard time eating it. Trust me when I say he ate ALL his ribs! We were all super impressed with how much meat it came with. I would say you can definitely share the Turkey leg & ribs between two people at least.

I loved the baked beans. They are homemade right there & a little on the sweet side. The cornbread is not loaded with a ton of sugar & tasted like the real deal corn bread muffins to me. My chicken was very juicy and the BBQ sauce on it was good too. You can opt not to get the BBQ sauce if you do not want it.

On your next trip to Hersheypark you definitely need to try out this awesome place to eat!

Have you eaten here? What are your thoughts?

Hersheypark Yuengling 1829 Pavilion...

Hersheypark Yuengling 1829 Pavilion

We were SO excited to find this new beer pavilion at Hersheypark! You can find the new Yuengling 1829 Pavilion next to the Spring Creek Smokehouse BBQ place.

Top of the tables

This is a standing area place only but they have a bunch of tall tables. It was a hot day but under the pavilion it gave us a nice shaded place to eat & drink.

The park was really busy on the day that we went but the beer line wasn't crowded at all.  You can order a Golden, black & tan, or Lager for $9.00. You are not allowed to leave the pavilion with your alcohol so you must drink it & finish it there.

Our group decided to get BBQ from next door & order some beers from here. They are just pouring large cans into a plastic cup for reference. It is a perfect chill place to hang out for a bit.

Hersheypark Turkey Hill Ice Cream Review & Pics...

As you all know I am a HUGE ice cream fan! Out of all of the theme parks my favorite ice cream place to go to is one of the Turkey Hill stores in Hersheypark.

There are two locations for the Turkey Hill specific ice cream at Hersheypark. One of them is right around where the ferris wheel is in the back of the park which is a larger ice cream shop type place. It is kind of like the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom. I got my ice cream from the stand that is around the corner from the Storm Runner Roller coaster.

We found that the Turkey Hill ice cream shops opened a little bit later but that might be because we went to the park in early June & their summer session wasn't in full force.

You order at the first window & they will give you your treat. You will then proceed down to the next window to pay the cashier. It was SO hot on the day that we went that we all had to eat our ice cream as we waited. The girls in front of us kept changing their order so it took a little longer than usual in line.

I ordered the twist Regular size cone. I might try the dipped soft-serve next trip. This ice cream is just a something extra special than your ordinary ice cream. I highly recommend trying here on your next trip! Nothing compares to Turkey Hill ice cream in my opinion! ;)
