Is there one place, restaurant etc that you always take a picture of or near at Disney? Being a past cast member I always try to take a picture with as many cast member signs as I can. :)

Liberty Tree Tavern Review...
I never really heard much about this place so was VERY hesitant to try but am so glad we went! It is a new favorite. We were a party of 2 adults. We went there RIGHT before the Hween Party was about to start. We waited about 30 minutes. When they call your name they say " Smith Family from West VA" or wherever you are from. It was quite cute. :) It is located in FrontierLand in MK.
You get a large bowl of salad & rolls. Pardon my picture but I was STARVING & forgot to take a picture. Everything is buffet style except they bring it all to you so you don't have to get up. The cast members wear 1800s type clothing. The check in desk was very friendly & gave us updates on our seating time. :) Everything we ate was very good. We will go back for sure! My husband said it was one of his favorites for the week.
The dessert bread was moist & the ice cream was good too.

Surprise FastPass...
On our trip I wanted to ride Winnie The pooh. ( i worked at this attraction in Spring 2000 so I always have to ride it. ) We were shocked to receive a "surprise" FastPass to Dumbo! We were so excited & were able to use both of them since both lines weren't too bad. We loved the new Dumbo Line Queue too! So cute & would be great on a hot summer day. I worked at Dumbo as well on my 2000 CP but in the old location. I wanted to see the difference. We loved the new location !

Fellow Blogger Banned from WDW...

I don't know what I would do if I were ever banned from WDW. Being a past cast member I'm always careful on things that I have posted to my blog. Sadly Adamthewoo was banned from WDW forever this week. He did a few videos where he went behind the scenes HUGE no no! I do not agree with what he did BUT maybe he should've gotten a slap on the wrist first but I understand Disney is trying to keep their secrets secret & maybe didn't trust the fact that he would honor their request? Here is his video on what happened to him at WDW Security:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH5lniaLcng
I have corresponded with him quite a few times on our Disney passion & he is a really nice guy!
In his videos he goes to abandoned places or famous places were movies were filmed etc & scopes out the locations. I feel bad for the guy but rules are rules & Disney was just looking out for their investment.
What do you think??

Wyndham BonnetCreek Review...
I know this really isn't Disney BUT it is on Disney Property technically. :) This hotel is located next to Caribbean Beach. It is very close to DTown Disney. I have stayed here four times. :) Luckily my in-laws are Timeshare owners with Wyndham. We have stayed in a 2 bedroom unit as well as a one bedroom unit. They are a very nice place. They have a large kitchen & eating area with full service kitchen, family room & large bathroom & bedroom. This past trip we had a view of Epcot & MK it was amazing to see the fireworks from our room. :) In the picture below you can see Spaceship Earth in the center of the picture. We could see the castle & Contemporary from our hotel in day light :)

| Me enjoying the hot tub There is a main lobby area where you can buy tickets to any park. There is a lazy river at main pool. I think they have like 8 different pools so it was nice to not have to walk far to one near our room. All the rooms come with jet tubs in master bath. I used them every night on my feet!!!!! It really helped :) They have free mini golf, pizza place, deli, & a few other places to eat. It is right next to Wyndham Orlando Hotel. Buses run 2-3x an hour. The drivers are very friendly. We never had to wait for a second bus due to them being full but we go on off times of the season normally before Tgiving. One night we got lost & a guy drove us back to our room on a golf cart! I highly recommend this hotel. :) If you pay $15 they will take you round trip to Universal as well which is nice if you don't rent a car. Port Orleans Guest Review by Rachel...
My friends stayed here while we were there the same week with them but we stayed @ Bonnet creek & she was nice enough to write up a review for everyone! These are her pictures & stories :) - Rachel W.

Port Orleans Notes:
~ nite swimming! The serpent slide & waterfall are obviously closed/turned off at nite, but it's a great time to have the pool to oneself! We intentionally didn't plan to use pool or water parks this trip. The pool was wonderful when no one was there!
~Key differences noticed, versus last trip to All Stars.. water pressure in shower is great! Wide expanding curtain rod & new shower head feel great when aching for that fresh shower after sweaty day!
All Stars even had a sign, to the effect of: "we know our water pressure sucks, but are keeping it low on purpose, to conserve water for the Earth" (with Jimmy Cricket Earth logos) aka and save money..
~Love the Jazz music piped throughout property!! but loudest near the pool. The music is off nite/early morning. We were up odd hours and hearing the music/no music contrast... the music such a lovely addition, and was actually missed it when it wasn't on. it helped with peoples' moods, noticed I wasn't the only one humming along. Granted those people were generally nearest to the bar. ;)
I wasn't expecting resort music to be of any importance as a factor, but it was unexpectedly fun and noteworthy aspect to the ambience and hotel stay. Theming! Contrast from All Stars, I only recall hearing screaming kids and other people's convos.. and did not spend much time outside. We'd say we even used the refillable resort mugs more often bc it was more convenient, than at value resorts, and we spent time enjoying strolling through the property (instead of dashing through the chaos food court, to the bus stops, hoping there won't be a long line...and there is usually a more-than-1-bus long line)
~During peak hours, a CP cast member was posted at the hotel bus stop with an ipad knock off, to relay bus info instaneously. Shout out to Mike from Westpoint, MD soon to graduate school at a SUNY. kidding, but true. We only had 2 wait for second bus once. Otherwise we caught first bus everytime, no matter where & when we were going, or coming from. The parks were unseasonably hot & crowded for October, too.
~The greenery! Shrubs, trees, and plants make huge impact on the theme & not being an open, concrete expansion like All Stars. We saw daily lizards, frogs, caterpillars and rabbits. They always scurry away when you walk up, but is cute and reminds of natural ambience of the South. few insects too was eventually noticed. There was this same frog who lived up above the pillar on our hotel building 2nd floor, we wondered why he was up there, until we came back at night and saw him eating the insects up there, once that lamp was turned on.. He was there every time (we don't usually notice every frog tho!)

| FROGGY :) |
~Smoking sections! Would not have noticed otherwise, but Port Orleans had many! and conveniently located nearby pool, food court, rooms in a court yard with a fountain, etc.
All Stars had 1 that I ever saw, and it was totes out of the way, crowded.
~I enjoyed many, if not every AM awake early, alone without other guests, sitting down by the pool with sore feet propped up, smoking in authorized section, sipping my resort refillable diet coke, and watching & tweeting photos of the sunrise over the pool!!! and preparing for busy days/evenings .
The music & pool waterfall turned on at 7:11 AM several days (noted time as was curious if same time every day, but one day at 7:23 so guess not :) Nice time to be outside, alone, weather tolerable, watching employees arrive at pool via golf carts
~Yes, it is someone's job (many, actually) to blow the pine cones off the sidewalks, wipe benches dry with towels, straighten the tables & chairs, etc. I saw them cleaning often, but never noticed any disorder, so they're very effective and noticable. cast members working outnumbered the guests out during certain hours, interesting
~Few times we saw the horse & carriage trot by on the sidewalks.. Is an additional pay option, didn't try it (kept thinking of that scene from Seinfeld, when Kramer gives the Central Park Horses chili, then drives the carriage around with the consequences of the chili blowing back on the passengers... Of course I mean farting horses, to be blunt) HAHAHA This made me laugh Rachel :)
~Initially bummed Port Orleans merged with Dixie Landings (to me it will forever be called this!) OK, Port Orleans French Quarter & Port Orleans Riverside, do share buses.. Riverside has 3 stops (at least) to sit through.. But French Quarter is the first stop on & off, each way! :) And several locations, like Magic Kingdom, had separate buses for French Quarter & Riverside
~The boat to Downtown Disney is always fun! We had a riverside view of the boat path along river & golf course is located, visibly, across the water. Only saw 1 lone golfer the entire stay.
It was so pleasantly calm & quiet back here in building 1. One morning on water taxis, a cast member was training on the empty boats, and kept reversing & going forward.. was funny to watch! One point I heard across the water, a "NO!" from the instructing cast member! Oops! Dunno exactly what was in reference to, but hope they earned their ears after a final driving test :) Nice benches along water, near the room.
~Highly recommend specifically the PO: French Quarter: Water View if considering staying at either PO resort. For especially jazz, and lover of the calm, natural, artistic touches.. It's the way to go! Probably even left out more details, but they do add up to be worth the money, over the value resorts! If you plan to stay long enough, or come & go often, these minor details really added up to be important, in surprisingly positive way.

Chef Mickey's for Adults Review...
I'm SO sorry I have been away but we were super busy during the holidays! It was nice to sleep in & relax. I hope everyone had a great holiday season & happy new year!
We made reservations a few months in advance. I have been to Chef Mickey's previously for dinner so this time I tried Breakfast there. Chef Mickey's is located at the Contemporary Hotel closest to MK. Our reservation time was for 9:45am so we woke up a little early & parked our car at Ticket & Transportation Center then took the monorail to Chef Mickey's to meet up with our friends. We even ended up on the same monorail so the timing worked out great! We had the Photopass Plus Package so the pictures we took here were included in our package. I received a Large photo holder with 4 hard copy pictures & 2 coloring pages plus it includes recipes as well. The pictures I got were digital & hardcopy which was nice.
We sat in a corner in the back right of restaurant which was fine. Our waitress was friendly & fast with drinks & service. I'm normally not a huge buffet person but I loved the food! I much preferred the breakfast to the dinner. The Mickey waffles were SO good! I had to go back for seconds. I got some fruit with cool whip topping & I'm not sure what was in the hash potato casserole but it was AMAZING. The best I've ever had! They tasted like they were cream cheesy? If anyone has the recipe please send to me!!! The mini cinnamon roll was really good too. This was my fave breakfast all week & we ate at Kona & Cinderella's! I will review those places eventually as well. :)
The characters did spend time with our table even though we were all adults. Mickey is my favorite so I got a solo picture with him. My friend's hubby loved Donald. All in all it was a great time. We had on our Happy Anniversary pins on & the waitress brought us 2 chocolate cupcakes with a candle. I was surprised at how good the cupcake was! They even did the dance for us with Pluto for our anniversary. It was SO cute & I loved it! All the kids were dancing & waving their napkins in circles it was very cute.Very impressed with this place & will make it a tradition Breakfast place from now on with our trips. I don't understand why people don't like the breakfast buffet. It was much better than I was anticipating after all of the reviews I read!
