Tutto Italia Review & Pics...
Monika & I randomly decided we wanted to eat dinner here one night. We tried to eat dinner in France but it was booked up but Tutto Italia had an opening at 5pm so we jumped on it. I was a bit afraid to try since I heard bad reviews but was willing to give it a try. I LOVED Alfredo's & was so upset when they closed. It was by far my favorite WDW restaurant. Quick Tip- You can still eat at Alfredo of Rome in NYC. I ate there a few years ago & it was just as good as Epcot's.
We sat at a two top in the smaller part of the restaurant which was fine. We had good service & the food was excellent. I enjoyed a peach mimosa while Monika had white wine but I forget which one she ordered. We both licked our plates clean & were very impressed with the food & service here. I still need to get my hubby here one day to try. Maybe next year. :)
The bread was very good as were the drinks.
I would go back in a heartbeat to eat the Cannelloni al Forno. I noticed it is only on the lunch menu currently. I wonder why? It was so creamy & wonderful. It melted in my mouth!
I cannot remember the name of this dish Monika ate but she said it was delicious! She did wish she ordered what I had though. She liked mine more.

Raglan Road Lunch Review....
Raglan Road is located in Downtown Disney at WDW. You can have lunch or dinner here. The first time I was here we just had drinks at the bar one night since we couldn't get a dinner reservation. There are two long bars inside & we managed to snag two chairs to watch the dancers perform. The dancers only perform at night& were fantastic! The bar has an extensive beer menu as well as regular american favorites.
We dined here on our way to the airport on our last day. :( We got here around 11:30am & were seated in the middle of the restaurant. They brought out their signature bread & Guiness dipping sauce. It was interesting to try & not horrible like I thought it would be. HAH.
We both ordered a caesar salad & it was quite good.My hubby ordered Bangerz & Booz while I just got Fish & Chips. Hubby loved his dish but he rarely ever says any meal is bad anywhere. The fish & chips were okay. Nothing amazing or anything. I would only come here again for the ambiance at dinner time. If you are looking for somewhere new to try I recommend dinner time for sure. It is a very cool bar/restaurant. They do offer some private booth/tables but they go pretty fast.

Life As A Quick Food Service Cast Member...
No one ever wants to get Quick-Service Food Service as their job at WDW but you gotta do what you gotta do. I was so ecstatic to get offered ANY position on the WDWCP so I didn't care. All I knew was that I was going to WDW! I was a Hospitality Major so ended up at All Star Music Resort. I worked 12-8 shifts mostly with 5 other College Program Interns. I still am in contact with the girls I worked with. We were a tight knit group. I lost touch with my friend Joe who I met there. He lived in Puerto Rico. I talked to him once or twice after we all went home but we lost touch & that makes me sad. He had the best personality & outlook on life. If you see this Joe please contact me! I miss you. ;) He was like a brother to me!
Everyone we worked with there was SO sweet & nice. I actually bumped into a couple I worked with there the next year when I was interning in Fantasyland. I went back the first couple of years but it is hard to make time to make it over there when we have a jam packed week of WDW. I don't think anyone I worked with is still there. :(
This was my first time away from home & working full-time. It taught me a lot about myself. Growing up I used to be a person that always said "I can't." My WDW bosses helped me a lot & turned me into a " I can" person now. I still keep in touch with one of my managers from All-Star as well. In the end I'm glad I worked in Quick-Service food & beverage. I learned a lot about myself & gained a ton of confidence! My parents saw a HUGE change in me when I moved home.
For the most part we got to pick which section we would work in. I loved working in the Bakery or BBQ sections so I mainly worked there. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for All Star Music resort. For the most part it was fun. All the band members & cheerleaders were challenging at times but that builds character right? ;)
My roommate Rachel used to laugh at my costume EVERYDAY I left for work. It never got old to her. She worked at DTD & only had to wear khakis & a polo..... I looked cute though right?!

MY Disney Snow globe collection...
I don't have many but I love my globes. I was lucky to get two of these at a cheap price while I was a cast member at WDW. They had a tent in back of MK that they called Property Control. They had overstock & slightly damaged items for very discounted prices. I'm sure it is still there for cast members. I got a ton of great stuff there. I still have a 2000 WDW sweatshirt,t-shirts,Cinderella tins etc that I got there. My mom gave me the Mickey one for xmas one year. Luckily I got these in 2000 before 9/11 so I could carry them on the plane so they wouldn't break. Pardon the dust :) They are on a super high shelf LOL
Do you own any Disney globes?

The American Idol Experience...
This experience is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I admit I haven't watched AI since Simon Cowell left the show. They have a few shows a day & a finals round at night. If they win they get a free golden ticket to skip the line to any AI Audition to have a shot. I know that quite a few people who got the golden ticket at WDW made it to the top 10 I believe.
You sit in an auditorium & the stage is quite impressive at least to me. They do back stories like on the real AI & it is cute. They have three fake judges that act like Simon,Paula,&Randy. Each chair in audience has a voting pad. It is quite easy to use. We went twice in same day to see who got through. My pick didn't make it though. :(
If you like music & a fun show this is a great way to get inside for some cool air conditioning. Just make note of the times schedule in the park map when you get there because they don't have shows constant all day. They also have an area earlier in morning where you can audition to be one of the three singers in the AI Experience.
Do you like this Attraction?

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Review & Pics..
Last October was my very first time to the Halloween Party. It was just me & my hubby so we weren't sure what to expect with no kids. You can enter the park starting at 4pm for the party & not have to wait until 7pm. It was very hot & humid that night so I'm glad I had a light costume. I was Abby Womack from the US Women's Soccer Olympic Team. Hubby was a Kansas City Royals Baseball Player.
As soon as you enter Magic Kingdom they have a photographer set up to take your picture in front of the park. As well as the Haunted Mansion Area & next to Sleepy Hollow area. Those picture were magic photos I will post below.
Last year when we went they were selling these CUTE light up Mickey popcorn buckets! Of course I had to have one. ;) They also sold Halloween themed treats & cupcakes. Sadly I did not try any of those to report back.
As soon as the party started we had dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern which was nice. When we were done we walked out front & the parade was going to start in 15 minutes. We had a perfect viewing area. I will say I do enjoy the Xmas party more BUT the Halloween Parade is amazing! I think it is much better then the Xmas one personally. It was very rainy all week & we lucked out it stopped that night. We got drenched in Epcot earlier in the day. We were both awed by the parade. The Haunted Mansion ghosts & Headless Horseman were my favorites!
The only "bad" part about the party was the Villains Meet & Greet. It was VERY unorganized & I kept getting pushed. There were no real line queues or anything. I gave up & left. I was disappointed not to meet the Evil Queen & Maleficiant. :( I was starting to get sick & it was our last night at WDW. We stayed until 11:30-12am I believe. I don't think I will ever go back in October unless we have kids. :)
All in all it was a fun party. If you've never been I highly recommend it. We were there the first week in October & the crowds weren't too bad that week either. It was just way more humid then we were used to. We normally go in November when it is cooler. I love the music they play in the park during the party too!
