Disney's All Star Movies Hotel Review & pics...

Disney's All Star Movies Hotel Review

This was my first time staying here since 1999. When I was a cast member at All Star Music they let Cast Members have a free night for a soft opening here. The All Star Movies Resort is located all the way at the end of the street of the All Star Resorts. In order from first to last it goes: Sports, Music, & Movies. Just be aware of this if you are using the Magical Express & you will be the last stop.

I had a full bus on my way to All Star Movies. If you would like a Video Room tour feel free to click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntrGzvnSM3k

The check in area was empty when I arrived around 5:00pm. Please note I planned my vacation for the week school started back up. : ) This was a solo trip for me so I just needed somewhere to sleep & shower. The check in process was very quick & easy. I was worried that my room was going to be miles away from the Main Building but it ended up being less than a 5 minute walk which was nice. My room number was 4801.

I was in the Perdita Building & my view was of the Pongo Building.

I was expecting really hard mattresses & such but I found the beds were fine to sleep in.The only issue with the room in my opinion is that it made me feel a little claustrophobic. I had stayed at the French Quarter Resort the year before & those rooms are slightly bigger. I would not recommend this resort to a big family due to the size of the rooms. Unless you love being cozy. :)

My walk to the Main Building wasn't bad at all. Here are some pictures.

The outside of the buildings of the DalmationWings.

In the lobby they had different display cases from different movies which was cool to look at.

The only issues I had while staying here was I lost my Magic Band in Magic Kingdom so got a new Magic Band. When I got to my room it didn't work so I had to get it scanned again at the front desk. The morning I was leaving my AC Unit went out but I was leaving anyways BUT if I was staying longer that would have been an issue. The hotel put my airplane ticket on my door handle & I was set to go!

I would stay here again if it were in slow season if you can call it that. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool. I felt safe the entire time here even though I was alone.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about HersheyPark. Please let me know if you've ever been & what your favorite cool treat in the park is!
